Much cheaper, the Exeter Park and Ride service may well be more convenient and practical. (new.devon.gov.uk/roadsandtransport/parking/park-and-ride). The best park and ride is the Green P+R from Matford. The buses run every ten minutes and a 15-20 minutes ride brings you to the end stop (by BHS), in the pedestrianised top of Fore Street, where all passengers have to alight. The returning buses run from the top of South Street just round the corner to the right.  From there, walking downhill out of the pedestrian zone and passing the junctions with Mary Arches Street and Market Street, you will see a church with a square tower on the right and immediately beyond is Mint Methodist Church site.

From the South (A38/M5 Northbound) - leave M5 at junction 30. Take the A379 to Exeter and Dawlish. At the Countess Wear roundabout take the third exit to the City Centre and follow Topsham Road for about 2 miles, passing the Crematorium, County Hall and St Leonard's Parish Church. You will eventually reach a major intersection with a double set of traffic tights. Go straight across into South Street. Follow the one way system into Market Street. At the T junction at the end of Market Street for the Church Car Park, turn left and the Church is almost immediately on your right. For Mary Arches Multi Storey Car Park, turn right and immediately left into Mary Arches Street - car park is about 200 yards on your right. (4-5 hours- £8.80, over 5 hours-£11.80)

From the North and East (A30 Honiton/M5 Southbound) From M5 Junction 29, follow signs to Exeter City Centre, past the Met Office and under a bridge. At T junction traffic lights, turn right towards Heavitree and City Centre. Continue for approx one mile. At the road fork traffic lights, take the left hand fork along Magdalen Road. Drive past the shops and turn left at the junction onto the Inner By-Pass. Follow the one way system around the side of a pub which brings you to a major intersection with double traffic lights. Turn right at these lights into South Street. Follow the one way system into Market Street. At the T junction at the end of Market Street, for the Church Car Park, turn left and the Church is almost immediately on your right. Go up the hill, which turns into Fore Street. The Church is on the left at the top of the hill. For Mary Arches Multi Storey Car Park, continue a few yards past the Church and then turn left into Mary Arches Street - car park is about 200 yards on your right.

From Central Station - Walk down Queen Street until you reach the T Junction at Marks and Spencer. Turn right onto the High Street. Go across the junction with North St/South St and into the pedestrianised part of Fore Street. Passing BHS on your right continue walking downhill out of the pedestrian zone and passing the junctions with Mary Arches Street and Market Street, you will see a church with a square tower on the right and immediately beyond is Mint Methodist Church site.

From St David's Station - Walk out of the main entrance, walk to the Main road (Bonhay Road) and cross the zebra crossing. Turn right and keep walking, passing under a railway bridge and then passing the Mill Bridge and a pub called Mill on the Exe on the right. Turn Left onto Exe Street, turn immediately right onto Barbican Steps and walk up some steep steps with St Bartholomew's Cemetery on your left. When you have climbed to the top of the steps you will come to Bartholomew Higher Cemetery. Turn left and walk towards the entrance to the old Cemetery, onto Bartholomew Street West. Turn right and walk over to the pavement on the left, keep walking till the road bends and take a left into Mint Lane. Follow this lane which bends to the right. On the right is St Nicolas Priory and to the left is the Mint Methodist Church side exit. Ignore this and keep walking to the end of the building where you will see some open gates leading to the car park. Follow this to the left until you get to the Main entrance.
