How To Get There

By Train to Fareham Railway Station.

Exit the station, pass the Fire Station and take the first exit from the station roundabout onto West Street (towards the Town Centre). Continue eastwards about 700m along the main shopping street. At the second light-controlled junction, turn left onto Osborne Road South. The United Reformed Church is about 200m on the left (just before a tee-junction).

By Bus to Fareham Bus Station

From the bus station, turn left onto Harper Way (past the taxi rank). Immediately turn left onto the main shopping street (West Street) and take the pavement on the right side of the road. At the traffic lights, cross over and turn right onto Osborn Road South. The United Reformed Church is about 200m on the left, behind a large evergreen oak tree.

Wherever you are coming from, head for Fareham Railway Station, which is on the A27 to the west of the town centre (the railway bridge is a prominent feature). At the station roundabout, take the next exit after the Fire Station (Town Centre/West Street), taking care to respect the several bus lanes. Continue eastwards on West Street to the first light-controlled junction; turn left onto Trinity Street (one-way). Move into the right-hand lane as soon as it is safe to do so (merging traffic from the opposite direction!). There is a council car park on the right, just past the derelict magistrates’ court building. After The Fareham public house, turn right onto Osborn Road. There is a council car park on the left. Turn first right onto Osborn Road South and the United Reformed Church is immediately on the right (it hides behind a very large evergreen oak tree). The church car park is just beyond the church itself, on the right, but it has only 18 parking spaces. There is another council car park on the left side of Osborn Road South. If all else fails, continue to the traffic lights and turn right onto West Street to go round the gyratory system again. All three Council car parks mentioned charge the lower (‘Outer’) rate of 70p/hour (at the time of writing). There are charge points for electric vehicles in the Civic Way Car Park withthree different types of connection, but this is about 800m away at the other end of Osborn Road (road access somewhat farther, via the High Street).
